University Pulse debuted the first installment of the mini concert series on dead week of the 2019 fall semester. “Dead Week, Live Music”, featured three sets from local musicians Lyrical Shea, duo He/lium She/lium. and The Phets. To open the show, Lyrical Shea’s incredible lyrical rapping was on full display. Next, He/lium She/lium brought the energy and glitter with their signature reverb soaked vocals and live keyboard instrumentation. The Phets were the perfect finish to an amazing night, rocking as hard as usual. Suffice to say, Dead Week, Live Music was a great success thanks to the local talent of Boise.
